Donate Wireless Routers to Low Income Households
For the past half year, Monkeybrains has been working on bridging the digital divide and connecting over 1000 low income units to high speed Internet. During the course of this project, we found opportunities to work The City of San Francisco and Bridge Housing on some housing units not covered by our grant. One of those is Holly Courts - 118 affordable apartment homes for families in Bernal Heights. So far, we have contributed $16,500 in hardware and labor to the project.
We have all the units online, and are providing a live ethernet jack with free Internet in every unit -- some residents are already using Free Internet here. Please help us with the last push to purchase brand new wireless routers for every unit. Donate to Bridge Housing and designate the funds to go to Holly Courts, and 100% of the funds will be spent on purchasing wireless routers for the residents. Several of our customers have already volunteered to hand out and help residents configure these routers (email hollycourts@monkeybrains.net if you are interested in helping as well). Our total goal is $15,000 for this donation drive.

This donation page is new and will hopefully grow along with the amount of donations we receive to help for causes related to our industry: Internet Connectivity. We have a history of doing work in affordable housing, supportive housing, social services facilities, and shelters. Help us amplify what we do by following us on Twitter and answering our calls for donations.
